Independence Day Activities The July 4th weekend is filled with activities to celebrate our country. Music Director Michael Butterman and the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra present a variety of patriotic classics. $10-$28 adult, $1 age 12 and under. Bring the family for visits from Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson and Uncle Sam. Hear a reading of the Declaration of Independence and watch performances by the Denver Concert Band and other area musicians. Watch the 1st Colorado Volunteer Infantry drill and listen to stories of mountain men and Native Americans. Enjoy traditional music and games, children’s crafts and horse-drawn wagon rides. Tour Denver’s oldest standing structure, the Four Mile House museum, and enjoy refreshments. $7 adult, $4 students and seniors, free age 5 and under. $2 for horse-drawn rides (adult), $1 under age 12.
