It’s time to make time for YOU!

Send us a photo of yourself and tell us: If you had one day all to yourself, how would you spend it?

Get creative, have fun, but stay within 100 words. (As if you have time to write more than that!) You could win:

•A fresh new look

•A massage at Spa Moments in Englewood

•A consultation with life coach Gretchen Reid of Motherhood Transitions who specializes in coaching moms through life’s transitions.




Write a 100-word essay answering the question: If you had one day to yourself, how would you spend it? Attach a recent hi-res photo of yourself (a full-length shot is preferred). Include your name, address and phone number and submit your entry to colorado.parent@parenthood.com.




All entries must be received no later than midnight MST, Sunday, February 21, 2010 or you can mail your entry postmarked no later than February 19, 2010 to Colorado Parent/Makeover Contest, 5460 S. Quebec St., Ste. 130, Greenwood Village, CO 80111. Moms must submit their own essay. Makeovers will take place in the Denver Metro Area.

Official Rules: All entries will be evaluated both on content and writing style: the decision of the judges will be final. Winner will be announced on Feb 26. 2010. If we cannot contact you by phone or e-mail within 3 business days, we reserve the right to choose another winner. The winner will be required to sign a release form. The selected mom must have transportation, be available for a makeover and be open to what the makeover may entail, which could include hair, make-up, and clothing. By entering this contest you will be granting Colorado Parent permission to use your before and after photos and essay in our magazine, on our website and for other promotional purposes. Only original photos will be accepted and photos will not be returned. Employees and their immediate relatives, of Colorado Parent, Dominion Enterprises, and its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, or agents are not eligible to enter. Prizes are not transferable, assignable or redeemable for cash. All taxes are the responsibility of the winner. All applicable laws apply and this contest is void where prohibited.
